Catch the  Vision!

The invitation is to all church members, and indeed everyone in our parish, to catch the vision for the role of our church in the community.  To seek God's plan for us and to resource that plan through giving - of our lives, our time, our talents and a fitting proportion of our financial income.   In all of this, and for the furtherance of the Kingdom, we want to build a Church for tomorrow, today.

On this page you will find specific information on particular elements of the wider vision.  We hope you can be part of the team to make it happen!

A plan of the possible new community church has been drawn-up from a brief by the Kirk Session and former Congregational Board.  It should be noted that this is a concept-drawing and any final building may differ from this and may not include the specific facilities shown at this stage.

In line with our vision outlined above, we want to build on the welcome we offer to all by  making our  church more accessible by being even more family-friendly, relevant, active, supportive, challenging, and community-oriented.

Much of this will be achieved as we seek to grow more like Jesus and look to the early church we read of in the Bible for inspiration.

Some of what we want to do, the needs we want to meet, along with the requirements of the worshipping community in Oldmeldrum and surrounding area will be assisted by relocating to a more centrally positioned, fit-for-purpose premises which is not only a centre for worship but which is a hub of community activities, providing much needed local resources.
